The Organisation

Russam is working with a small health charity.

Role & Responsibilities

They have an immediate requirement for an Interim CEO to lead the organisation through the next exciting phase of its development, increasing and diversifying revenue and extending the reach of the charities’ activities.

The interim will:

  • Be responsible for ‘business as usual’ in terms of strategy, planning, operational performance and governance.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships, projecting a positive image and influential voice.
  • Lead a motivated team and have responsibility for their management and mentoring providing inspirational leadership and clear direction.
  • Oversee the overall financial health of the organisation and lead fundraising and marketing efforts ensuring long term operational viability is secured.
  • Be an ambassador to promote and represent the organisation externally.

The Desired Applicant

With prior experience at this level within the charity sector, you will have strong leadership and people management skills that will inspire a small team and support a diverse board and have substantial experience of managing and developing relationships with a broad range of external stakeholders.

This appointment is expected to be part-time for 9-12 months of mainly home-working with some office and meetings attendance when required.
