A special message from our Managing Director Jason Atkinson

On the 4th of February I wrote an article on IR35 and the “Boris Boost” on the interim/contract side of our business and impact on UK plc. It led to a lot of interesting discussion on our social media channel and heralded a series of information guides and events on IR35.

Thrive Event: Leading people through huge transformational change

On the 13th February we welcomed Paul Whyte, Managing Director of Bestfood logistics (formerly Bidvest) for our second Thrive event and the first of 2020. Our relationship with Paul began when the parent company of Bidvest identified the need to hire a specialist turnaround leader to urgently diagnose and execute the turnaround of Bidvest Logistics. Russam worked closely with the Parent to conduct the specialist search for Paul.

RUSSAM GUIDE TO IR35

At Russam we are working closely with our interim candidates and clients to guide them through what’s involved and what their options are. If your business is affected by the new legislation, we would strongly urge, if you haven’t already, to start taking steps to determine the status of all contractors operating through a PSC within your business, particularly given timelines involved.

IR35 - Your questions answered

Russam have been navigating through IR35 since 2000 and ensuring that the contracts we agree are fully compliant from start to finish. This article answers questions you may have about IR35 and if you require further help please get in touch.
