2023 Guide to Interim Management
Interim Management is flourishing. This is backed up by the September 2023 joint KMPG and REC (our recruitment industry body) stating that businesses are looking to take on temporary skills (at the expense of permanent appointments) including Interim Managers; avoiding permanent headcount liabilities but also enabling them to attract more experienced leaders and experts that a permanent role might now allow . . Interims are over-qualified and they can be on-site within days anywhere in the world. At Russam we are also seeing a flexing of the concept of Interim Management. Many Interim Managers end up on the payroll; though this would not have been the original aim. An assignment enables both parties to try each other out before committing to a permanent relationship.
As the first Interim Management provider firm in the UK, we have something to say here.
