We are delighted to announce that Joe Kay has joined UKinsuranceNET (UKIN) as Interim Head of UK IN.

This hire was led by our MD, Jason Atkinson, who worked closely with the CEO of parent company Barbon Insurance (part of PIB Group) to secure the perfect candidate for this important role.

Barbon Insurance Group is the UK’s largest tenant referencing and specialist lettings insurance company. Russam has worked closely and partnered with Barbon Insurance since 2012. Since then, we have placed 8 Interim Managers, including an IT Programme Manager, Chief Risk Officer, Change Consultant, Risk Monitoring Manager, and Operations Director.

Joe Kay brings 25 years of global business transformation and operational change experience. 

He has held transformation, process improvement, and business re-organisation roles at companies such as Allianz, Capita, Aviva, Nokia, Brit Insurance, and Railsbank.

His first task is to bring strategic leadership to the UKIN business based up in Stockton-on-Tees. 

Established in 2001, UKIN is an independent broker offering landlord insurance and other protection products. It has grown rapidly and provides standard and bespoke insurance products for residential and commercial property owners, including landlords, multi-occupancy homes, Airbnb, unoccupied properties, holiday homes, and properties undergoing renovation.
