In Memoria for Remembrance Day
In Memoria
Under cold November showers
Respects are paid with reddened flower
Eleventh day, eleventh hour
We shall remember them
Streets and towns as pals they went
Into the maelstrom they were sent
Hell unleased, all fury vent
We shall remember them
Left as one, then non-one left
A generation now bereft
From bravery to vanished
We shall remember them
The rain fell then that falls today
It washed the blood into the grey
The colour back in wreaths we lay
We shall remember them
The sun is up, a new age starts
A hundred years and worlds apart
They gave their all for land and heart
We shall remember them
