The Organisation
Our client is the British division of a global manufacturer and distributor of safety, access, and storage equipment for industrial, construction, and automotive professionals.
They have about 200 UK staff between two sites – Midlands and South East.
They urgently need an Interim Senior HR professional to bring stability at UK exec level during a sensitive time of sick leave.
It is a full-time role starting immediately for 3 to 6 months – ideally based near Derby but with flexibility. Outside IR35 status likely. Day rate and other aspects to be discussed with interested interim candidates.
Roles & Responsibilities
The role will involve bringing instant stability to the HR function in the UK; working closely with both the UK general manager and the EMEA VP of HR. Though it is quite a hands-on / tactical role (involving providing leadership cover) it is more than this and will provide the opportunity to bring in a fresh set of eyes to review the UK operations and make suggestions for long-term improvement.
The Desired Candidate
- 10-15 years HR leadership experience and ideally CIPD qualified
- Experience in manufacturing environments preferred - warehouse operations, plants etc.
- Credible with the leadership team and experience handling complexity – able to add value at c-suite level
- Highly analytical with a demonstrated ability to manage data and metrics to support performance
- Experience working in multi-national/global matrix type structures would be useful
