Our client delivers innovative and cutting-edge renewable energy projects.
They are private equity backed and need a commercial leader who can help them to develop and lead the company’s development. The approach could be to take on an “Interim” leader initially and see how this morphs into a longer-term role with an equity stake. 

Role & Responsibilities

This is an early stage company helping organisations not just in the transportation industry but renewable energy and storage projects. The focus is on deciding on which de-carbonisation projects to pursue and determining how to deliver along with multiple stakeholders/consortium partners.

The Desired Candidate
 

• Deep background in the energy / utilities sector – this could be across utilities, renewables and infrastructure; important to know how things like grid connectivity works and the whole green energy ecosystem
• Someone that understands how to take a project through to financial investment decision and beyond
• Self-starter and proven delivery experience; entrepreneurial flair
• Some knowledge of working in a VC/PE setting would be useful
• Project management approach – structured way to develop a project
