The Situation.

Being aware of the enormous responsibility for customers, the assets and the environment, the E.ON Digital Office (CDO) is analyzing and developing digital solutions to provide the best customer service, improve operational  efficiency and make their products and services smarter.

To support the efforts of the CDO started the Digital First initiative, which set the goal of rocketing the company’s complete existing business into the digital era. To do they looked for someone who would manage all activities for the regional unit UK (RU UK) and be the interface between the RU and the central program management; and set the digital strategies, manage the digital portfolio of the RU, and help it to meet its digital KPIs.

The Solution.

Appointment of a high calibre interim manager accountable for managing all Digital First program activities for RU (UK) 

Report to the Digital First – Program Management regarding overall status and direction of the Digital First program within RU (UK)

Act as a point of contact for the RU for all digital matters, build strong relationships with the relevant digital stakeholders in the RU (UK) and manage them accordingly

Set digital strategies and manage the digital portfolio of RU (UK), considering their specific requirements (360 degrees understanding) of achieving digital KPIs targets: employ adequate methods to understand AS-IS, identify weaknesses and opportunities, set objectives to achieve defined goals and mitigate identified risks

Part of international digital team.

Results.

This pan-European project is ongoing and is regarded as a great success in transforming the businesses to be fit for purpose in the increasingly complex digital era.

Successful management of the portfolio of global initiatives to achieve the target KPIs in terms of defining, implementing and follow up on digital KPIs for the RU UK.
