Russam was approached with a brief to help the existing team to boost capacity and prepare the organisation for significant future growth.

In June of this year Chris Brown commenced with an initial scope of work to review the existing operations and make recommendations back to the board. Chris is an ops and supply chain director with 20 years interim experience. Chris has built a career successfully trouble shooting and turning around failing operations, projects and businesses. He has a background in Aerospace and Automotive manufacturing and has managed facilities in the UK, China and Indonesia.  Chris has strategic sourcing expertise; he has restructured UK and European manufacturing supply bases, reducing costs and improving performance. He has set up a number of global supply chains, supplying aerospace forgings, castings and machined components at low cost from the Far East.

He has also consulted in the energy sector, implementing management control systems into a global energy provider to reduce their trading risk in the energy markets. Chris is a graduate of the respected Fellowship in Manufacturing Management Programme at Cranfield University. He has had an article based on his innovative consultancy work published in the Harvard Business Review.
