The majority investment from NorthEdge (a regional private equity firm headquartered in the North, backs Lights4fun and the high-quality management team, led by Managing Director Kieran Eblett, who joined the business in 2018. With expansion comes the need for outstanding digital marketing capabilities, therefore Lights4fun set out to recruit a Chief Marketing Officer to lead this area of growth for the business.
Kieran was introduced to Cathy Kay and Russam by an advisor to NorthEdge, who had successfully worked with Cathy to source similar roles. Cathy and the team at Russam conducted a thorough search of the online retail markets to find a CMO with proven digital expertise. The search was intense, but we were delighted to introduce Jon Brook, formerly from Interflora British Unit, where he held the position of Head of Marketing. Other notable experiences from Inchcape, Sports Direct, Wilko and Game Station mean Jon brings a wealth of retail expertise and online marketing. Kieran is delighted to have Jon on the team. He says that Lights4fun are on an exciting growth journey and Jon is already proving to be an exceptional colleague and he adds that the support he received from Russam throughout this important project was outstanding.
