Russam Places Interim Operations Experts to Support PolarSeal®’s Rapid Growth

PolarSeal®, a leading specialist in medical adhesives and devices with over 40 years of experience, is renowned for its innovative solutions and strong brand presence in the medical industry. As the company prepares for significant future growth, they sought expert interim leadership to boost operational capacity and streamline processes.

In June, Russam successfully placed Chris Brown as Interim Operations Director [#GreatHire], with a clear mandate to review existing operations and provide strategic recommendations to the board.

This month, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Julian Locker to join the team. Julian will support PolarSeal®’s manufacturing expansion, including:

• Relocating existing operations within the warehouse
• Converting office space into welfare facilities for an expanded workforce
• Establishing a new prototyping and R&D area

His role includes refining project plans, managing and reporting progress, specifying work, overseeing contractors, ensuring compliance with EH&S regulations and CDM standards, and providing clear briefings to the operations team.

Julian is a highly experienced interim operations and construction manager, having completed over 15 high-profile assignments. His expertise includes managing multiple construction sites, overseeing factory relocations across Europe, setting up cleanrooms, and applying lean manufacturing methodologies across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain environments in the UK and EMEA.
