#GreatHires Provide hire NED (Finance and Investment) and NED (Innovation and Commercial)
We are delighted the announce that Provide CIC has hired two NED. Provide is a social enterprise operating across Essex, East Anglia, and beyond from Dorset to the north of England. They work in a variety of community settings, such as community hospitals, community clinics, nursing homes, and primary care settings, as well as within people’s homes, to provide more than 40 services to children, families, and adults.
Julie Green was appointed as NED Innovation and Commercial. Julie has achieved success within various senior and challenging roles, most recently for AVIVA. Her early career includes time with Commercial Union and JP Morgan. I believe she is very committed to everything she does and, once committed, follows through to the highest standards, and her career achievements are testament to this. She has a wonderfully fresh and energetic approach and a glow about her. Socially conscious, she led the TIZER campaign to offer free financial advice to customers.
Mark Friend was appointed as NED Finance and Investment. Mark has a full and varied career, including strategy in the arts, media, and broadcasting. He is most naturally a numbers man – not only top-line but always happy to dive deeply into the numbers. Mark is highly motivated to contribute to the health sector and is passionate about the need for change. His board experience is mostly within the Charity sector as a Trustee for National Centre for Creative Arts. Arts Foundation, Separated Child Foundation, and he is Chair of Brondesbury Park Football club, with NELFT as Senior Independent Director.
