Client Relations Associate
Your Russam contact
The Organisation
Russam is working with a specialist medical equipment manufacturing company based in the South of England.
Role & Responsibilities
We are seeking a capable Client Relations Associate with a passion for long-term relationship building and strategic client development. In this role, each client is a project - evolving through phases of onboarding, contract fulfilment and ongoing collaboration. This is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit team where you'll have the autonomy to drive results, coordinate with internal departments, and make a tangible impact on business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
• Developing and maintaining strong, consultative relationships with global clients, serving as their primary point of contact throughout the lifecycle of their engagement with us.
• Managing client accounts with a project-style approach: tracking deliverables, timelines, spend, risk, and opportunities for expansion.
• Driving account profitability through pricing strategy, volume forecasting, and EBITDA-enhancing initiatives. Lead discussions on MOQs, raw material dependencies, and scaling timelines.
The Desired Applicant
• Proven experience in client relations, account/project management, or customer success, ideally within medical devices, life sciences, or other regulated B2B sectors.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills - capable of working with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally.
• Commercial awareness and confidence in navigating pricing, margin improvement, and long-term client value discussions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple long-term accounts like evolving projects - balancing short-term wins with long-term growth.
• Experience using CRM systems for pipeline management, reporting, and relationship tracking.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, change, and managing complex client environments with multiple moving parts.
