About the role
As a Field Technician, you’ll play a vital part in delivering mobility and rehabilitation solutions that make a real difference to people’s lives. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
You will:

Provide technical support and servicing for a wide range of mobility equipment (including wheelchairs, hoists, and specialist products).

Work closely with service users, families, and clinicians to make sure the right solutions are in place.

Support innovative approaches such as the Personal Wheelchair Budget scheme, giving people greater choice and control.

Contribute to a values-led organisation that partners with the NHS and local authorities.
What we’re looking for
We’d love to hear from you if you have experience as a:
-
Field Engineer, Service Engineer, or Technician
-
Rehab Engineer or Rehab Technician
-
Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or related clinical role
-
Or if you’ve worked in the mobility, community equipment, or healthcare technology sectors
Key qualities include:
-
Good technical or clinical problem-solving skills
-
Strong communication and people skills
-
Organised, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
-
IT literate (comfortable using laptops and databases)
-
A full UK driving licence
Training & Development
Full training is provided — including LOLER and PUWER qualifications if you don’t already hold them — so this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and progress your career in a growing sector.

£29,000 – £35,000 salary (depending on experience)
