The Role:
We are looking for a Group Data Architect to lead the creation and execution of the data strategy. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to define data requirements, develop conceptual and logical data models, and oversee data migration from legacy systems to new Microsoft-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an end-to-end data strategy and operating model.
- Lead data migration from legacy systems to Microsoft-based solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to harness data as a strategic asset, including leveraging AI and ML techniques.
- Ensure data governance, ownership, and compliance with regulations such as GDPR.
- Manage the Group data budget and identify cost-effective data-sourcing opportunities.
Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience in data architecture and strategy development.
- Proven ability to design data models and lead data transformation projects.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, compliance, and protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Experience working in diverse technology environments, ideally within customer-focused or financial services sectors.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing senior leadership.
