The Organisation
Russam is working with a small campaigning charity that is supporting families impacted by violent crime and advocating for systemic change to protect lives and ensure justice.
Role & Responsibilities
The recent departure of their CEO means they have an immediate requirement for an Interim CEO to stabilise the situation and to help them evaluate their future shape and direction.
The interim will:
- Manage the charity’s day to day operations and administration
- Advise the Trustees on the strategy, policies, and effective organisational development of the charity
- Act as an external spokesperson and ambassador for the charity
The Desired Applicant
With proven experience at this level gained within the not for profit/charity sector you will have a good understanding of policy and an awareness of what is happening across government.
You will be comfortable maintaining ‘business as usual’ managing a small team, budgets and leading on fundraising as well as giving strategic guidance and direction to the board to ensure that the charity achieves its mission and objectives.
This appointment is anticipated to be for 6 months part-time and hybrid working.
