About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Interim IT Security Manager to oversee our IT security and governance, specifically managing our IT Security function. This role involves supervising the security team, managing third-party security service providers, and ensuring the security of our hybrid cloud IT infrastructure, including Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT security management and a proven track record in facilitating security audits, risk management, incident management, and maintaining compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate security training and awareness programs for staff and partners.
- Supervise the information security team in day-to-day activities, including security monitoring and incident management, providing 24x7 out-of-hours support.
- Lead and manage the response to IT security incidents, ensuring they are appropriately escalated for attention.
- Ensure security is engaged in change management processes to review changes for risk-based feedback and approval.
- Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
Person Specification:
- Extensive experience in IT security management with a focus on Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Experience in developing, documenting, and maintaining operational security procedures, standards, and policies.
- Demonstrable experience in facilitating security audits, risk management, incident management, management reporting, and administration required by an IT security function.
- Experience working with third-party security and IT support service providers.
- Experience in maintaining regulatory compliance programs across complex environments (e.g., FCA, DPA, PCI DSS).
