The Organisation

Our client is an innovative and early stage firm that provides on-demand services for home repairs. They are on a path to securing Series A funding but have work to do to drive sales and marketing and maintain their growth.

They need an Interim / Interim -to-Perm MD to come in and seize the opportunity. 
As they are early stage the base salary maybe modest but there is an opportunity to take equity in the business.

Role & Responsibilities

They want a solid general manager to guide the business through this early period and help drive the agreed strategy for winning customers and having them sign up to the monthly subscription service. They will need to manage various teams including oversight for the workforce (mostly plumbers, electricians, etc).

The Desired Candidate 

• Experienced MD/operational executive with ideally a few previous interim assignments 
• Strong background in business and support services  
• B2C experience 
• Someone that has introduced technology to drive operational efficiency and customer experience
• Great communicator and team leader - someone that will not upset anybody but help to sharpen up the team and performance. A really good people person who will roll up their sleeves
