The Organisation:
We are working with a consumer finance company expanding into Europe with an innovative lending platform for helping to fund home improvements.
We are looking for an Interim Product Manager to start immediately and help play a critical part in terms of overseeing the development and launch of a new consumer lending product, specifically within our initial e-commerce channel partnership.
Reporting into the Director Product, this role is at the heart of our product development, focusing delivering outcomes leading up to launch and working closely with key 3rd party delivery partners.

Initially a 6-month interim assignment; this role could extend or transition to a permanent role.

Role & Responsibilities:
•    Drive delivery including:
o    Elaboration of requirements from Operations, Compliance, and Lending Product teams – to ensure that the product we bring to market is supportable, compliant and scalable
o    Briefing and managing the Engineering team to implement necessary changes
o    Managing delivery plan
•    Act as the primary liaison with our e-commerce partner, representing the organisation and ensuring strong communication, collaboration, and credibility
•    Focus on problem-solving and shaping solutions to meet project goals and outcomes

The Desired Candidate:
We are looking for someone with a proven track record in product management; having successfully launched products and understanding the product lifecycle intricacies.

• Minimum 6-8 years’ relevant experience (within an early stage / start-up / consumer finance/lending / consumer fintech / growth-stage business preferred / and Direct-to-Customer) – Background in Business Analysis, Product Management, and Delivery Leadership
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and experience working in Agile
• Understanding of the general fundamentals of product management and core structural processes i.e. problem recognition, analysis, development, testing, development, retesting, launching etc.
• Ability to encourage, motivate and develop a diverse group of people towards a challenging goal; commercial nous and tech savvy (Ability to thrive in both scrappy and structured environments; readiness to adapt to evolving processes as the project matures)
• Great communication and listening skills; someone that loves collaborating and comes with high energy
•    Background in Business Analysis, Product Management, and Delivery Leadership

In summary, ideally, experience in early-stage product development within Consumer Finance or BNPL businesses; otherwise, experience in direct-to-consumer financial services.
