The Roles

Due to a combination of retirement from the board and maternity leave,  LHA is seeking new trustees with the skills and motivation to make a real contribution to the Board and the charity as a whole. LHA’s trustees are responsible for the governance and delivery of their services to young working people and students. Trustees work through the Board of Trustees, through sub-committees of the Board, and often through individual input into aspects of their work.

The charity is looking to appoint trustees who will also serve on either the Property Committee or the Social Policy Committee.

The Person(s)

As well as having a commitment to the organisation and a willingness to devote the necessary time and effort, LHA is specifically looking for the following skills/experience:

For the Property Committee: property development, land acquisition, and/or sustainability

For the Social Policy Committee: digital transformation from any sector or a background in social housing policy
