Overview
Our client is an insurance MGA start-up.  The successful candidate will lead the setup of this new structure, with the potential for the role to evolve into a permanent C-suite leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

• Programme Leadership:
  • Drive the setup of the MGA framework from concept to operational model.
• Regulatory & Compliance:
  • Ensure all regulatory, compliance, and underwriting requirements are met.
  • Leverage expertise to navigate complex regulatory environments.
• Change Management:
  • Implement effective change management strategies in an environment with limited existing capability.
  • Provide clear direction and support during the transition period.

Key Qualifications
Mandatory

• Demonstrated experience in setting up or growing MGAs.
• Strong background in regulatory compliance, underwriting, and risk management.
• Ability to work flexibly across multiple sites in a fast-paced, interim role.

Desirable

• An actuary with proven leadership and general management experience.

Working Environment

• Structure: Hybrid, on-site coordination and remote engagement.
• Dynamics: Limited internal change management resources, meaning the candidate will need to drive the process with initiative and efficient stakeholder management.
• Organisational Reach: Engage with professionals and site teams across five locations to implement a unified MGA structure swiftly and effectively.
