The Opportunity

We are seeking a Platform Architect to play a key role in shaping the future architecture, scalability and performance of a sophisticated identity platform.

This is a high-impact role working across engineering, product, client delivery and leadership teams to ensure the platform remains secure, resilient and commercially aligned as the business continues to grow.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical depth with the ability to engage stakeholders, guide engineering teams and translate business needs into robust architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the architecture roadmap for the core platform and associated services
• Ensure platform scalability, resilience, security and performance standards are met
• Lead architectural decisions across cloud infrastructure, applications, integrations and data flows
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to support new feature delivery
• Define technical standards, governance and best practice across the platform estate
• Support client implementations requiring complex integrations or bespoke solutions
• Identify technical risks, legacy constraints and optimisation opportunities
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align technology decisions with commercial priorities
• Provide architectural leadership for platform modernisation and future growth initiatives

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in a Platform Architect, Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect or similar role within a software or SaaS environment
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, modern application architecture and API-led integration
• Experience designing secure, highly available and scalable enterprise platforms
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, identity management or regulated technology environments is highly desirable
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
• Hands-on mindset with the credibility to challenge and guide engineering teams
• Commercial awareness and the ability to balance technical excellence with business priorities
