Russam achieves B Corp certification
Russam has today become one of the only senior level talent businesses to achieve certification as a B Corporation (or B Corp), joining a growing group of purpose driven businesses who have a commitment to goals beyond profit. Russam has been certified by B Lab as having met rigorous standards across governance, workers, community, environment and customers and has embedded its commitment to purpose beyond profit in its company articles.
This certification follows in the wake of our related business, Trustees Unlimited, being re-certified as a B Corp last year.
Russam’s Managing Directors, Jason Atkinson and Ian Joseph, said:
This is a great day for Russam. For over forty years we have been committed to helping organisations and individuals thrive. With a long-standing commitment to social impact already, becoming a B Corp is an obvious next step in our continuing endeavour to influence the world around us. To become a B Corp during this year’s B Corp Month is a real honour and we are proud of the whole team for their dedication and commitment to the company, our clients, and the people we interact with every day.
Russam is now part of a community of over 5,000 businesses globally who have certified as B Corps. The B Corp community in the UK, representing a broad cross section of industries and sizes, comprises over 1,200 companies and includes well-known brands such as Coutts, The Guardian, innocent, Patagonia, The Body Shop and Abel & Cole. Russam is proud to be in such good company.
