Our team at TU have successfully placed Kerryn Huck as CEO of the Hardman Trust, Kim Rihal as a Trustee for the Social Business Trust, and Phil Hardman as the Director of Family Fund Business. 

Hardman Trust hires Kerryn Huck as CEO

Through its financial Awards and its Directory, The Hardman Trust supports prisoners who are planning for their future beyond prison. The Trust encourages men and women to achieve self-set personal goals and feel empowered to take control of their lives. 

Kerryn has been appointed as CEO of the Hardman Trust. With 20 years experience in the voluntary sector, Kerryn has worked in drug and alcohol support, homelessness, criminal justice and youth services. Most recently, she was the Director of operations for a national charity supporting people to read in prison. Passionate about volunteering, Kerryn has been a Samaritan, a community group facilitator and is currently a trustee for a criminal justice charity supporting ageing prisoners.

Kim Rihal joins the Social Business Trust

The Social Business Trust builds a meaningful connection between world-class corporate partners and social enterprises to drive social change. Providing in-kind business expertise is at the heart of what they do. 

Kim Rihal is the co-founder of Equal Education, an ambitious and growing social enterprise targeting inequality in education around the globe. Her experience is rooted in senior leadership teams and the Headship of two inner City London Schools. 

Kim has been recognised by the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, as a prominent educator and rising prospect to tackle some of London’s most challenging education problems. Following that, she was invited to the Mayor’s International Programme, where she spoke about her work in 3 different continents. She is passionate not just about social mobility but social justice.

Phil Henderson becomes the Director of the Family Fund Business Service

The Family Fund Business Service work with housing associations, charities, local authorities and other organisation to deliver essential items to people in need.

Phil Henderson has been appointed as Director to Family Fund Business Services. He has over twenty years retail leadership experience, five years in book retail for a generalist followed by three years on the Board of a bookshop chain. Before joining Family Fund, he was Sales and Marketing Director at Blackwell’s Bookshops where he was responsible for leading the buying and marketing functions along with the shop estate.
