We were absolutely delighted to work with the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in the Executive Search and appointment of their new Chief Executive.

We started the search just before COVID-19 forced us into lockdown in March. We carried on with the rest of the process over the next few months from our offices at home. It was an international search and we were speaking to individuals in New York, Mexico, Australia and Africa and they were all facing their own challenges brought about by the pandemic. However, we had to overcome any difficulties very quickly. We adapted, with the help of technology, and reached out to some amazing, diverse individuals which resulted in a very strong shortlist. Not only did Russam step up in a difficult set of ever-changing circumstances, the brilliant Board at WAGGGs did too, and this allowed for an impressive and smooth appointment process that brought together members from all over the World.

We are so pleased that Anna was appointed. She brings a wealth of experience from working with multi-cultural, volunteer-led teams in global roles such as CEO, Country Director, General Counsel and Change Management. We wish her every success in her role and look forward to supporting WAGGGS again in the future.
