The Trustee Board meets formally 4-6 times a year and you will need to devote time to reading Board papers; there will also be other ad hoc meetings to attend. In addition to Board work you will also be expected to undertake training and a comprehensive induction is provided. Overall this leads to a commitment of about 12 days a year; if successfully appointed the initial term is 3 years, subject to a maximum of 12 years. Experience and knowledge of debt advice or financial hardship sectors would be beneficial.
